Guwar prices were sharply down on the wholesale grain and oilseeds markets on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan registered at Rs 3550-3600, Guwar Sindh and Punjab dropped by Rs 1000 to Rs 13500-14500, other commodity items did not move any side due to balanced demand and supply, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was lower by Rs 10 to Rs 3180 and the best type was down by Rs 25 to Rs 3225, they said.

On the seeds side, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) inferior variety shed Rs 50 to Rs 850 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 900, they added.
